What types of locks are used for aluminium profiles?
Today, aluminum structures are crucial due to the benefits they offer, such as resistance to corrosion, lightweight, ductility, etc. Many structures built with aluminium profiles need locks that are compatible with the profiles they are applied to, so that the objects that are important to their functions can be stored, and Wolweiss demonstrates the types of locks that are suitable for achieving storage and security in your work environment:
Door Lock
The door lock is a type of lock that can be opened or closed simply by turning the key corresponding to its slot. This door lock is a metal lock with key, and it is made of back electrophoresis die cast zinc.
L Lock
The L lock must also be opened with a key, however, the lock will only open if, after unlocking the key, the lever is pulled to open the lock. The L lock is made from polished finish zinc alloy.
T Lock
The T lock works in the same way as the L lock, except that the handle is a knob, saving space around the lock. The material and finish of the T-lock are the same as the L lock.
Slot Lock
The slot lock consists of attaching the fixed aluminum profile to the slot in the other profile and releasing the lock in the slot by pulling the opening handle. The slot lock is made of back electrophoresis die cast zinc.
Double Ball Catch
The double ball catch is a specific type of lock that only aims to keep doors closed and aligned, rather than locking them. The two balls in this lock, each one inside a groove and supported by a spring, serve to hold the complementary piece of the lock that passes between them, to allow the support to remain still.
