Bernati’s BMT three-phase motor series is built within a cutting-edge technology, with a simple and robust design and in compliance with IEC standards. BMT three phase aluminium motors covers the product range with outputs from 0.18kW to 22.00kW in frame sizes IEC56 to IEC160, in either 2,4 or 6 pole speeds. The aluminium cast ensures high resistance to corrosion and atmospheric attack, and has a much lighter weight when compared to cast iron frames.
The energy saving by using these motors is much higher when compared to IE1 class of efficiency motors. It ensures a higher efficiency, an optimized ventilation system for cooler operation and reduced noise, and it is highly reliable under most demanding conditions. Moreover, it reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions, and presents an enhanced electrical and mechanical designs to meet today's challenges and market needs.

These motors comply with the latest efficiency standards and requirements of IEC 60034-30-1;2014. They have a proven high quality, reliability and performance.
Bernati motors with IE3 and IE4 efficiency classes, only from 0.75kW on up, come equipped with a positive temperature coeficiente (PTC) thermistor. Therefore, in these cases, when resistance increases as coil temperature reaches values defined by the insulation class F, a signal is sent to the motor’s control unit in order to protect the motor and increase its operating lifetime. Upon request, the PTC thermistors can be installed in all other ranges where this protection is not standard.
