The sealing part of these profiles is made of EPDM sponge rubber and the clamp area consists of soft rubber with a wire carrier.
In an extrusion process the two materials are bonded to each other through vulcanization.
EPDM profiles are tested according to UL 157 and UL 50E.
The profiles made of NBR are oil resistant.

Sealing profiles as a combination between PVC edge trim and sponge rubber can have up to two glued joints.
